No time to make breakfast? Think again! 1 heat-resistant mug + 2 eggs + 3 minutes = a near-instant version of one of the simplest keto dishes, omelette.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Brush a large, heat-resistant mug or cup with softened butter. Add heavy cream to the eggs and whisk. Fill the mug with the egg mixture up to two-thirds full. Because during the cooking process, the egg mixture will increase in volume.
  2. Add a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper or cayenne pepper.
  3. Place the mug in the microwave, which you turn on at maximum power, and cook the dish for 1-2 minutes. Remove the omelet and stir. Place the mug back in the microwave for another minute.
  4. Please note that the omelet continues to "come up" after being taken out of the oven. Therefore, do not overdry it.
  5. Remove the mug from the microwave and add some butter to the omelette. Let the dish cool for a minute.
