Omelet with cheese, bell peppers and tomatoes

Make this bright and flavorful omelet with cheese, bell peppers and tomatoes for a simple and delicious breakfast!

  1. Peel and cut the onion into small cubes.
  2. Peel and chop the garlic with a knife.
  3. Remove seeds from sweet peppers and cut into strips.
  4. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
  5. Put the onion and garlic in a preheated pan with vegetable oil and sauté for about 3-4 minutes (until soft).
  6. We send bell peppers and tomatoes to the pan with onions.
  7. Fry vegetables for about 8-10 minutes. Then add salt to taste.
  8. We turn on the oven to heat it up to 180 degrees (if you plan to cook the omelet in the oven).
  9. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.
  10. We wash the dill and chop it finely with a knife.
  11. Break the eggs into a bowl.
  12. Mix the eggs well with a whisk, fork or mixer (at low speed).
  13. We send dill and cheese to the eggs.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Pour the egg mixture into a pan with vegetables.
  16. Stir immediately vigorously so that all the ingredients are evenly combined with each other.
  17. Cook over low heat for about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle oregano on top.
  18. We send the pan to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 15 minutes. As soon as the eggs are completely "set", remove the pan from the oven.
  19. If desired, the omelet can not be sent to the oven, but simply cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the eggs set.
  20. Cut the finished omelet with cheese and vegetables into pieces and serve.
