Open pie with chicken and vegetables

Ingredients

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes and boil until tender in salted water.
  2. Then mash potatoes in puree, add butter, salt, pepper to taste, egg. Mix everything.
  3. Add flour and knead the dough.
  4. Put the dough in a split form, form the sides and refrigerate.
  5. For the filling, fry the onion in vegetable oil.
  6. Add chicken cut into small pieces. Fry until the meat is no longer pink.
  7. Add sweet pepper, tomato (other vegetables if desired, such as eggplant).
  8. Mushrooms cut into plastics and fry on both sides. You can not suffer with mushrooms and add them to a common pan with vegetables, but I decided to experiment and fry, following the advice of Julia Child, in one layer. Mushrooms turn out to be ruddy and very tasty, but this is not necessary for the pie. :)
  9. Simmer all chicken and vegetables together for a few more minutes, salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Pour the filling into the dough.
  11. For filling, mix cream, eggs, salt, pepper, beat lightly.
  12. Pour the filling and put the cake in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  13. After half an hour, take out the cake, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
  14. Let the finished open pie with chicken and vegetables cool slightly, then remove from the mold and serve! Bon appetit!
