  1. Fry the sausages in butter over medium heat. Keep warm until serving.
  2. Grate the cabbage on a coarse grater, or chop it with a food processor or knife.
  3. In the same skillet where the sausages were prepared, fry the cabbage. Stir occasionally until the cabbage has a delicious golden brown hue.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer to reduce the amount of cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
