The simplest dish that even a novice cook can handle is scrambled eggs. Ruddy, crispy and aromatic garlic croutons are the perfect addition to your usual fried eggs. Excellent breakfast with a minimum of products!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. If you have a whole piece of bread, cut it into slices about 1.5 cm thick.
  2. Peel the clove of garlic and cut it in half. Rub each slice of bread with garlic on both sides.
  3. Cut off the crust from each piece of bread and cut the crumb into cubes.
  4. In a frying pan, heat about 1 tbsp. spoon (15 ml) vegetable oil and spread the bread cubes.
  5. Fry the bread cubes over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until browned.
  6. Transfer the finished croutons to a plate.
  7. Add the remaining vegetable oil to the pan in which the croutons were prepared (the pan should be preheated, but not too hot). Gently break the eggs into the pan.
  8. Reduce heat to low and fry the eggs for about 3 minutes, until the egg whites are completely set.
  9. Put the finished scrambled eggs on a plate, salt and pepper. Add garlic croutons to the fried eggs and serve.
  10. Bon Appetit!
