Shawarma is an oriental dish that has become familiar to everyone in recent years.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix yogurt, mayonnaise and ketchup, salt and pepper to taste, add hot pepper. Mix. Finely chop the chicken fillet, season with spices and salt and fry until tender in vegetable oil. Cut the tomato into slices, onion into feathers. In a large bowl, mix both types of chopped cabbage, onion, prepared sauce and mix.
  2. Spread the sheets of pita bread on the table - put cabbage with onions and sauce, fried chicken and slices of tomato on each. Roll up tightly enough so that the filling does not "creep away".
  3. On a grill or grill pan, heat the shawarma on both sides for 3-4 minutes. If there is no grill, you can warm it in the oven on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 5-8 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  4. Serve hot shawarma! Bon appetit!
