The basis of this cake is made up of fresh fruit, harmoniously complemented by whole grain flour, as a result of which this lean pastry acquires not only an original taste, but also a lot of useful properties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all listed ingredients. If desired, replace the vinegar with lemon juice or citric acid diluted in water (1/4 tsp).
  2. Mash the banana pulp with a fork in a deep bowl, grate the apples on a fine grater, without peeling them, and add to the resulting banana puree.
  3. Add granulated sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar to the fruit mass, pour in sunflower oil and combine the ingredients with a spoon.
  4. Pour sifted flour mixed with baking powder into the resulting mass, and mix the components thoroughly, achieving homogeneity.
  5. At the final stage, pour vinegar (lemon juice) into the dough and stir well again.
  6. Put the dough in a baking dish (it is enough to sprinkle a silicone mold with flour, and a metal one must first be greased with oil) and place in a preheated oven. The baking temperature of the fruit cake is 180 degrees, the baking time is 40-45 minutes.
  7. Use a wooden stick or toothpick to check if the cake is ready. Let the baked cake cool slightly and serve. If desired, you can sprinkle the product with powdered sugar.
