For the sake of variety, I will publish here not my own work, but a translation of the classic recipe for Argentinean cookies Alfajores de Maicena.

  1. Put the butter to melt, and in the meantime, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and vanilla (you can just take the vanilla baking powder right away).
  2. Mix the softened butter with sugar and beat well.
  3. Add the yolks to the dough one at a time, butter whipped with sugar, then a tablespoon of brandy, then lemon zest and mix everything well
  4. Roll out the dough (thickness 0.5-1 cm) and cut circles of the same size from it
  5. Sprinkle the circles on top with coconut and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes
  6. We take out the cookies very carefully: they will be very crumbly, so it is important not to break them. And when the cookies have cooled down, we begin to collect them: lay condensed milk as thick as a finger on the lower circle and close with a second circle, roll the sides of the cookies in coconut flakes.
