Almond cupcakes with lemon frosting

Ordinary cupcakes can be turned into a fabulous table decoration.

Ingredients

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Beat butter with sugar and vanilla extract with a mixer until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating mixture after each egg. Add sifted flour and baking powder, almond flour, milk, and orange water (or essence) for flavor. Whisk until smooth. Pour batter into 18 125ml cupcake liners (with paper liners inside). Bake for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
  2. Mix well the sifted icing sugar, lemon juice and hot water. Frost the cupcakes and decorate them with sugar flowers. Leave for a while for the glaze to harden.
