Peel bananas, mash 1.5 bananas in puree, and cut the remaining 0.5 bananas into thin slices.
Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Butter 12 muffin tins.
In a bowl, mix the bran, flour, baking powder, 50 g sugar, raisins and salt.
In a small saucepan, melt butter with corn syrup.
Add milk, eggs, flour, soda to melted butter, mix. Then add banana puree and mix well. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling them 3/4 full. Arrange banana slices on top and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Place muffins in preheated oven. Bake banana muffins until clean wooden stick when pierced, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove the muffins from the oven, let cool in the molds for 5 minutes, and then remove from the molds. Serve banana muffins completely cool.
