Vegetable waffles, it turns out, are very, very tasty. They are no worse than the usual sweet waffles, and in some ways even better. What is more useful and less high-calorie is for sure.
Potato waffles are a wonderful and not standard breakfast or dinner that your family will undoubtedly appreciate. And the children will not gloomily pick with a fork in a plate, but will eat such a waffle with pleasure, and they will also ask for supplements.
Cooking such waffles, in the presence of an electric waffle iron, is quick and easy.

  1. Boil potatoes, mash into puree and cool slightly. Add vegetable oil and eggs. Mix.
  2. Add flour, hot milk, salt, pepper, baking powder and chopped herbs.
  3. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  4. Lubricate the plates of a heated waffle iron with vegetable oil. Posting 1-2 tbsp. potato mass in each cell.
  5. Close the waffle iron and bake until golden, 7-10 minutes.
  6. Serve with sour cream or any vegetable sauce.
