Chocolate cake with marshmallows, cookies and nuts is an insanely delicious dessert with a mega chocolate flavor. It is prepared quite simply and quickly, besides, it does not require baking.

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Buy good quality chocolate with a cocoa content above 56%. Butter is suitable with a fat content of 72% and above. Do not replace butter with margarine. In addition to nuts, you can use dried berries and fruits, candied fruits or dried fruits. Marshmallows can be replaced with unsweetened marshmallows.
  2. Break the biscuit cookies into small pieces with your hands and place in a deep bowl.
  3. Add marshmallows and peeled almonds to the cookie pieces. If the almonds are not peeled, pour boiling water over them for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and peel off the skin. Then dry the nuts with a paper towel. If desired, the nuts can be dried for several minutes in a dry frying pan.
  4. Pour cream into saucepan. Add chunks of butter. Pour in powdered sugar. Set the saucepan to moderate heat. Stirring with a spatula, heat the contents of the saucepan until hot. It is not necessary to bring to a boil.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the fire. Add dark chocolate pieces. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  6. With constant stirring, the chocolate melts and the mass begins to thicken. Cool the finished chocolate mixture slightly.
  7. Add melted chocolate to cookies, nuts and marshmallows. Leave about a fifth of the chocolate mass to cover the cake.
  8. Mix well so that all the cookie pieces, nuts and marshmallows are covered with chocolate.
  9. For molding, take a split mold, a molding ring or a container of a suitable size (shallow saucepan, glass or ceramic mold) with a diameter of 18-20 cm. Cover the mold with cling film and grease with vegetable oil. If you have acetate in your kitchen, line the sides of your mold ring or mold with it. In this case, no oil is needed. I used a molding ring and acetate film. Transfer the chocolate mass to the mold and tamp with a spoon.
  10. Pour the rest of the chocolate mixture on top and smooth it out. Put in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours until completely solidified.
  11. Carefully remove the ring and remove the film or remove the cake from the mold along with the cling film, and then remove it. Garnish with chopped nuts or powdered sugar.
