In the summer season, hurry up to please your loved ones with original pastries - homemade cake with melon slices! The crumb of the cake turns out to be soft, loose, moderately sweet. Melon gives the pastry a wonderful aroma and a pleasant fruity taste.

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, combine eggs and sugar.
  3. Beat the eggs with sugar with a mixer at high speed until a fluffy light foam is obtained, 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour milk and sunflower oil into the resulting mixture.
  5. Mix the dough base on a low mixer speed.
  6. Sift the flour together with the baking powder, and then pour into the bowl with the beaten eggs.
  7. Knead the dough again at low speed of the mixer.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  9. Peel the melon from the skin and seeds.
  10. Cut the pulp of the melon into cubes.
  11. Dump the melon cubes into the batter.
  12. Stir.
  13. Line a rectangular cake tin with parchment (both the bottom and sides) and put the dough into it.
  14. Place the melon cupcake in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
  15. Remove the finished cake from the mold and let it cool completely.
  16. Cut the cupcake into pieces and serve at the table during dessert.
