  1. Break two chicken eggs into a deep large bowl.
  2. Add 130 grams of granulated sugar and 30 grams of milk to the eggs. Beat these ingredients well until light foam with a mixer.
  3. Add 200 grams of soft butter to a common bowl and beat again until smooth.
  4. Sift 400 grams of wheat flour through a sieve, mix with 15 grams of baking powder for dough and add portions to the dough. After each portion of flour, mix the dough well so that it is free of lumps. Initially, you can do this with a mixer, and then continue with your hands.
  5. When we have got a soft homogeneous dough, we form a ball out of it, wrap it in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for one hour.
  6. When the dough has lain for the required time, take it out of the refrigerator and divide it into two equal parts.
  7. Roll each part with a rolling pin into a rectangular layer 2 millimeters wide. It will be more convenient if you do this on a silicone mat.
  8. In a separate small bowl, mix together 150 grams of jam and 15 grams of cornstarch. This prevents the jam from flowing out during baking.
  9. Spread half of the jam with a very thin layer on one layer of dough.
  10. Gently wrap the layer in a roll. If you rolled it out on a silicone mat, you can also wrap it up with it.
  11. Using a knife, cut the roll into equal parts of an average width. After each cut, the knife blade should be washed to prevent the dough from sticking. We also do with another layer of dough and the second half of the jam.
  12. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle the edges of each cookie with starch and put it on a baking sheet.
  13. We heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. When the oven is hot, put a baking sheet in it and bake the cookies for 30 minutes.
  14. We transfer the finished cookies to a beautiful dish and serve.
