Prepare for tea a very tasty, fragrant and moist lemon-honey cake on kefir.

  1. We prepare all the necessary ingredients for the test.
  2. We take out the butter and eggs in advance from the refrigerator and leave at room temperature.
  3. Beat softened butter with sugar until white.
  4. Add eggs and beat.
  5. Remove the yellow part of the zest from the lemons (using a fine grater). Squeeze juice from the same lemons.
  6. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  7. Add juice and lemon zest, kefir and honey to the oil mixture. We beat.
  8. Gradually add flour sifted with soda and baking powder. Add salt.
  9. You should get a homogeneous dough.
  10. Lightly grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. If the mold is silicone, then skip these steps.
  11. We spread the dough in the form and send it to the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  12. 5-10 minutes before the cake is ready, prepare the syrup for impregnation. Squeeze out the juice from the lemon. 2-2.5 st. reserve a tablespoon of lemon juice for icing.
  13. In a small saucepan, combine the rest of the lemon juice with sugar, water and cognac. On low heat, bring the mixture to a boil, boil for 1 minute and remove from heat.
  14. We take out the finished cake from the oven (check the readiness with a wooden stick: if it comes out dry, then it is ready).
  15. Prick the cake with a toothpick and pour over the lemon syrup. Let the cake soak for 40 minutes.
  16. Preparing the frosting for the cake. To do this, mix the remaining lemon juice with powdered sugar.
  17. You should have a thick frosting.
  18. Take the lemon honey cake out of the mold and cover with frosting on top. You can decorate the cake with decorative sprinkles.
  19. Lemon honey cake is ready.
