Patties with potatoes and mushrooms on airy yeast dough completely replaces a full meal. They contain only vegetable fats, suitable for fasting and vegetarians.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients. I used freshly frozen mushrooms in the recipe, you can also use fresh mushrooms. Let's start making pies by preparing the dough.
  2. In a deep bowl we send yeast, sugar, pour warm boiled water and leave for 15 minutes. During this time, the yeast will begin to act and a fluffy yeast cap will appear on the surface. Stir the mixture and add salt, vegetable oil and gradually begin to sift the flour.
  3. Depending on the quality of the flour, you may need more or less than what is stated in the recipe. Knead first with a spoon, then with your hands, knead the dough for 7-10 minutes, until it becomes homogeneous and does not stick to your hands. We cover the bowl with the dough with a clean napkin and put it in a warm place for 40-60 minutes, until it has increased by 2.5 times. While the dough is rising, let's prepare the filling.
  4. Peel the potatoes and boil until tender in salted water. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil, at the end add seasoning for potatoes and vegetables, if necessary, add a little salt and pepper. We crush the finished potatoes, adding potato broth to it. Add mushrooms to mashed potatoes and mix - the filling is ready.
  5. Knead the risen dough again, put it on the work surface, roll it out and form a sausage. We will cut off small pieces from the sausage.
  6. We roll out each piece, put the filling, pinch and form pies. Fry the pies in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown and serve hot. Lenten pies with potatoes and mushrooms on airy yeast dough are ready! For a more detailed recipe, see the video.
  7. Bon appetit!
