The article describes how to bake delicious, tender and aromatic cookies in milk from simple and affordable ingredients in the oven. You will learn in detail about each stage of preparation: kneading elastic and soft dough, shaping and baking a dessert. And you will be able to independently prepare such baked goods at home, even without having experience with the dough.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour milk (80 g) into a saucepan, add brown or white sugar (200 g), vanilla sugar and mix everything. Put the stewpan over low heat and heat to completely dissolve the solid ingredients. The mass must be constantly mixed with a spatula so that it does not burn. No need to bring to a boil.
  2. Add butter (100 g) to the ingredients so that it melts and mix well to get a homogeneous mass.
  3. Next, it must be poured into a deep bowl for kneading the dough and allowed to cool.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat a raw chicken egg (1 pc.) With a fork and add half to the milk mixture. The other half will be needed to grease the cookies.
  5. In a bowl with syrup and egg, add pre-sifted wheat flour (400 g), salt (1 pinch), baking powder (2 tsp) and knead the dough. This can be done with a mixer or with your hands. The finished dough should be soft, smooth and tender.
  6. Round the dough with your hands, put it on the table surface, sprinkled with flour, and roll out a thin layer no more than 1 cm thick.
  7. Take cookie cutters and make blanks for future cookies.
  8. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with a little butter, and carefully transfer the blanks. In order not to deform them, you can use a regular pan spatula.
  9. Next, the molds must be greased with the remaining beaten egg so that a beautiful golden crust forms on the pastry.
  10. Send the baking sheet to the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, and bake for 7 minutes. The finished cookie should be light, soft and fluffy. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and leave to cool slightly.
  11. Then transfer it to an airtight container and store that way. If you are planning a tea party, then the cookies can be transferred to any convenient container and served with tea or coffee.
