  2. Line 12 muffin cups with paper rosettes.
  3. In a large bowl mix flour with salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy.
  5. Gradually add the eggs to the butter mixture, beating well after each one.
  6. Whisking on low speed, gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
  7. Pour batter into prepared molds, filling them 2/3 full.
  8. Place in preheated oven, bake muffins in milk for about 25-30 minutes, until clean wooden stick when pierced. Remove muffins from oven, let cool.
  9. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla.
  10. Lubricate the muffins in milk with glaze, and place one cherry on top. Let glaze dry.
