Onion focaccia with cheese

Traditionally, focaccia is made from flour, water and olive oil.

  1. Mix instant yeast with sugar, pour warm water.
  2. Mix two types of flour, salt, olive oil.
  3. Pour in water with yeast.
  4. Knead the dough. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place (for example, in an oven with the light on) for 1 hour.
  5. After an hour, knead the dough, form a ball, put on parchment for baking and press, formed a cake. Cut the onion into half rings and put on a cake, slightly pressing.
  6. Leave in a warm place for another half hour. Then sprinkle the cake with grated cheese and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes.
  7. Italian focaccia is ready!
