Butter crispy cookies with many sugar layers will be a great addition to homemade tea at the end of the meal.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix yeast with warm milk and 1 tsp. Sahara. leave for 20 minutes to activate the yeast.
  2. Melt the butter. Add egg, salt, vanillin, melted butter to the dough. Stir until smooth.
  3. Sift the flour and add it to the oil and yeast mass. Mix well. I advise you not to add all the flour at once, it may remain a little. The dough is thick and not sticky. Cover with foil and allow to stand for 40 minutes in a warm place.
  4. Knead the dough and roll it into a rectangle 0.3 mm thick. Sprinkle half of the layer with sugar and fold in half. Press down with your hands. Sprinkle the resulting layer of dough with sugar and fold in half. Gently press down and again roll out with a rolling pin into a rectangle. Repeat such manipulations 2-3 times.
  5. Roll out the resulting layer of dough to a thickness of 1.5-2 cm, sprinkle sugar on top and cut into small squares or rectangles.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. During the baking process, the cookies will rise.
