Fragrant and tender pumpkin-apple muffins with streusel are perfect for autumn tea drinking.

  1. Before we start making muffins, let's make pumpkin puree. To do this, take 500-600 g of pumpkin, peel and cut into medium-sized cubes. Put in a saucepan, add 50 ml of water and put on fire. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes over low heat.
  2. Cooking time largely depends on the type of pumpkin. Ready pumpkin should be soft.
  3. Drain the pumpkin in a colander to drain excess liquid.
  4. Then puree the pumpkin with a blender.
  5. Pumpkin puree is ready.
  6. Prepare the ingredients for the muffins.
  7. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  8. Sift the flour and mix with the rest of the dry ingredients.
  9. Separately, beat the wet ingredients with a whisk.
  10. Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
  11. We get a homogeneous dough.
  12. Peel the apple and cut into small cubes.
  13. Add apples to the batter and stir.
  14. The muffin dough is ready.
  15. Preparing the ingredients for the streusel.
  16. The butter must be from the refrigerator.
  17. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon, add grated butter.
  18. Grind everything into crumbs with a fork.
  19. Insert the paper capsules into the cupcake pan. We spread the dough in the prepared form.
  20. Sprinkle streusel on top and put in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.
  21. We check the readiness with a wooden stick - it should come out of the muffins dry.
