A spotted cake made from two types of dough turns out to be incredibly beautiful, appetizing and tasty. Dense, rich, fragrant, and even with chocolate icing and nuts - such pastries are no worse than a cake. Such a spotted cupcake can even be served on the festive table.

  1. We send the oil in advance to the refrigerator, it should be well chilled.
  2. First, knead the light dough.
  3. Sift 320 g of flour into a wide bowl.
  4. Add a pinch of salt, 150 g of sugar and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. We mix.
  5. Chilled butter cut into cubes.
  6. Add butter to flour mixture.
  7. Rub the butter with flour into crumbs with your hands.
  8. Add an egg.
  9. We knead the dough. It should gather well in a lump and not stick to your hands.
  10. We form a thick layer from the dough and wrap it with cling film. We send the dough to the freezer for 50 minutes.
  11. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  12. We knead the dark dough: sift 130 g of flour, cocoa and 2 teaspoons of baking powder into a wide bowl. Add 110 g of sugar and a pinch of salt.
  13. Mix well.
  14. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 eggs, sour cream and jam.
  15. We beat.
  16. Whisking constantly, add the dry ingredients little by little.
  17. The dough is of medium thickness.
  18. Frozen light dough cut into arbitrary cubes.
  19. Put the pieces of light dough into the dark dough. We mix.
  20. Line the bottom of the baking dish with parchment paper.
  21. Put the dough into a mold.
  22. We send the form to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes. After half an hour of baking, I covered the cupcake with a sheet of parchment so that its top would not burn.
  23. Cool the finished cake in the form.
  24. Melt chocolate over low heat. Add vegetable oil to chocolate. We mix.
  25. Chop the walnuts not too finely.
  26. Add nuts to frosting. We mix.
  27. Drizzle frosting over cake. We send the cake to the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
