The low-carb keto pizza base is just as good as traditional dough. The pizza is prepared on the basis of almond flour and shredded mozzarella cheese. Due to the fact that there is no yeast in the composition, the base can be prepared in a few minutes. The dough turns out to be fluffy and resembles a bread crust with a delicate cheese flavor. Many meat, cheese and vegetable fillings are suitable for such a base. This recipe uses a simple filling of cheese and tomato sauce. Pizza includes 8 servings, one piece per serving.

  1. Heat the mozzarella and cream cheese in the microwave for 45 seconds until they are melted. Stir to combine the cheeses.
  2. Add the egg, almond flour, seasonings to the cheese mass. Mix thoroughly with a spoon until smooth. Smooth out the dough with a rolling pin to make a round base 5-7 mm thick. Remove the parchment paper if desired and shape with your hands.
  3. Preheat oven to 230 C. Transfer base to oiled parchment paper, place on a baking sheet or pizza dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the base from the oven and add the filling: mozzarella, basil, tomato sauce.
  5. Bake the pizza for 5-8 minutes until the cheese is melted.
