In general, the recipe for making asparagus pudding came to me by accident - a whole loaf of bread became stale, and vegetables and cheese were in the refrigerator. It was a sin not to experiment! Very tasty!

  1. So, cut the stale bread into cubes and spread it in an even layer in a greased baking dish. We preheat the oven well, and give our croutons an additional browning.
  2. Meanwhile, boil chopped leeks and asparagus in slightly salted boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Strain the vegetables and put them on the ready-made croutons.
  3. Let's make the filling sauce. To do this, beat eggs with milk and spices in a separate bowl until a homogeneous airy consistency. Pour vegetables and croutons on top and cover with a lid. And let it bake for 40-50 minutes at 200 degrees. Three cheese on a grater, but don't add it yet.
  4. And only after 40 minutes we remove the lid (I covered it with a piece of foil for baking) and sprinkle with grated cheese. Next, let it bake until all the cheese is melted. Bon Appetit!
