Barley, cooked with mushrooms, and even in a pot, is a real delight! This dish can be served both for lunch and for breakfast or dinner! Delicious!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We wash the pearl barley thoroughly until the water is transparent.
  2. Then lightly fry in vegetable oil to brown the barley a little.
  3. Coarsely chop the mushrooms and add them to the barley in the pan. We continue to fry for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Put the fried barley with champignons in a pot (pots) and pour boiling water so that the water is 2 fingers above the barley level. Salt and add the bay leaf.
  5. We cover the pots with lids and send them to the oven. We bake the barley with mushrooms at a temperature of 200-220 degrees until boiling, then reduce the heat to 180 degrees and leave for 60-80 minutes. The pearl barley should become soft and absorb all the liquid.
  6. Bon Appetit!
