  1. Wash the beets and boil until tender. When the beets are ready, cool them slightly, peel them and mince them. Squeeze out the juice.
  2. Chop an onion and fry in hot oil until soft. Add beets, ghee and heat.
  3. Pour the semolina into the skillet. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cool the beet mass slightly and stir in the egg. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Form cutlets from the mixture. Sift the breadcrumbs through a sieve. Dip the cutlets in them and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
