Basic recipe for steamed fish fillet or fish steak. You can steam almost any fish in a similar way - unless the cooking time is different.

  1. Rinse the rice under cold running water and put it in the special compartment of the steamer.
  2. Season the rice with salt. Rinse the fish, salt and rub with lemon pepper. Leave on for about 30 minutes.
  3. Place the fish in the second compartment of the steamer. Cut the carrots into slices.
  4. Place the carrots and broccoli in the third compartment of the steamer.
  5. Pour water into a double boiler and cook for 30 minutes. Put the rice in a bowl, mix with butter, grated cheese and canned peas.
  6. Place fish on a platter along with vegetables and rice.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
