Light and tasty breakfast or snack - carrot-apple salad with oatmeal and prunes. Such a juicy salad of raw carrots with apples and prunes is a real storehouse of vitamins! A special highlight of this salad is the fried oatmeal, which gives it nutrition and a pleasant nutty note. The sweetness of the salad is provided by honey and prunes, which also have a beneficial effect on digestion. Salad dressing - vegetable oil, thanks to which vitamins, macro- and microelements are better absorbed by the body!

  1. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Put the oatmeal in the pan and, stirring constantly, fry for about 3-4 minutes, until golden.
  2. Transfer the toasted oatmeal to a bowl. Approximately 1/2 tbsp. set aside a spoonful of cereal for serving, and pour the rest with milk and set aside for a while.
  3. Peel and grate the carrots on a Korean carrot grater.
  4. Peel the apple, remove the core. Grate the pulp of an apple on a Korean carrot grater.
  5. Cut prunes into small pieces.
  6. In a deep bowl, combine chopped carrots, apple and prunes.
  7. Drain the rest of the milk from the oatmeal and place in a bowl.
  8. Add honey and vegetable oil.
  9. Stir.
  10. Salad of apples, carrots, prunes and oatmeal is ready. Transfer it to a plate.
  11. Sprinkle the salad with the reserved toasted oatmeal and serve.
