Carrot and cheese sandwiches

Sandwiches with carrots and cheese are very pretty and original sandwiches that are good both for an ordinary table, for example, for breakfast, and for a festive one. A classic recipe, nothing more.

  1. Boil the carrots in their uniform until cooked. Cool, peel.
  2. Rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
  3. Add grated cheese, chopped (or pressed) garlic, mayonnaise to a bowl with grated carrots. Add salt, pepper and mix everything well.
  4. Cut the baguette and tomatoes into not very thick slices.
  5. Put two slices of tomato on each piece of bread, spread the carrot-cheese mixture on top, put the sandwiches on a dish, decorate with herbs and serve.
