Carrot casserole is an excellent dish for children and as a diet food. Using the same recipe, you can cook a carrot casserole without cottage cheese by increasing the amount of carrots. You can do it without eggs.

  1. Put the carrots cut into strips in a saucepan in a layer of 20-25 cm.
  2. Add some milk or water and margarine.
  3. Cover and simmer until half cooked.
  4. Prepare semolina porridge with milk or water.
  5. Rub cottage cheese with 1 teaspoon of sour cream, egg and sugar.
  6. Stir carrots with semolina and curd mixture.
  7. Put the resulting mixture in a baking dish, oiled and sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the casserole, drizzle with oil and bake until tender.
  9. Cut into pieces and serve with sour cream or sauce.
