I make mashed celery root by adding onions and a little potatoes to it. And also different spices and herbs, from which my celery root puree turns out to be tasty and healthy :) I give a proven recipe!

  1. Prepare the celery roots. Peel and cut into small cubes.
  2. Peel and chop the onion as well.
  3. And potatoes.
  4. Mix milk and water, salt. Put on fire and toss in cooked vegetables. Salt. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook for about 30 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  5. Use a colander to drain the water from the vegetables. Place them in a high-sided cup (if you use a mixer or crush) or in a blender. Add butter, herbs and white pepper. Whisk until smooth, although you can make a lumpy puree. Try it, you can add salt to taste. Your celery root puree is done :)
