Do you know how to cook chicken skewers in a spicy marinade? This is the most authentic Thai dish that can be cooked both on the grill and in the oven. I am sharing a simple and delicious recipe!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a blender, grind coriander and caraway seeds, ginger root, lemongrass stem, 4 onions, garlic, 0.5 cups of coconut milk, 1 spoonful of sugar, 1 spoonful of fish sauce, turmeric into a homogeneous mass. Cut the chicken thighs into thin strips and place in a bowl, cover with marinade and let sit for 1 hour. At the same time, place the skewers in cold water.
  2. Cut the remaining onion into thin rings. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and sauté the onions.
  3. Add peanuts to the fried onions, fry until a pleasant aroma appears.
  4. Place the chili flakes in a skillet, remove from heat and pour in the remaining coconut milk.
  5. Pour the contents of the pan into a blender, add the fish sauce, remaining sugar, tamarind juice, curry. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Take out the pickled chicken, string on skewers.
  7. Put the kebab on a gas grill (you can use charcoal or wood), fry until tender (internal temperature 70 degrees).
  8. Serve kebabs with cooked peanut sauce. Bon Appetit!
