Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel an onion and cut it into large cubes. Peel a carrot and cut it into small cubes. Finely chop the garlic. Cut the meat into 3x3 cm pieces. Fry the meat in brown on 3 spoons of oil until brown, 5 minutes.
  2. Then put onions, carrots and garlic in a pan. Fry, stirring, for another 5 minutes. Then sprinkle the meat and vegetables with spices, add bay leaf, salt well, cook for a few more minutes. Pour 1/2 cup of water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, remove the lid. If there is a lot of liquid left, then cook without the lid for another 5 minutes. As a result, the meat should remain in a very small amount of liquid, rather even in fat.
  4. While the roast is cooking, boil the rice in 3-4 glasses of water with the addition of 1 tsp. salt. Cook over low heat until cooked through (about 15 minutes). Rinse the rice under cold water. Transfer rice to a pan with meat and vegetables, stir, heat for 2 minutes. Pilaf with pork is ready.
