Sometimes you just want juicy and fragrant meat, and there is no time or opportunity to go for barbecue out of town. In addition, this dish is not very useful, although appetizing. In this case, you can use a great alternative: cook pork steak in the oven. At any holiday table, this dish can be very successful as a hot side dish. And also steak can be an everyday hearty dish due to the fact that it is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take a few medium or large bulbs, peel them, rinse and cut into thin rings. Place pieces of foil twice the size of each steak on a baking sheet. Grease them with a little vegetable oil. You can also pour them a little white wine or beer, about 50-100 ml. this will add a steak of juiciness and spiciness. At the same time oil, of course, is not required as pork is fat enough and will allocate "oil". We also need spicy condiments to your taste and a few peeled cloves of garlic, sliced. Onion rings are carefully laid out in one layer on foil, put pork steak on them. This meat is pre-washed and cleaned of films and lived. Its thickness should be from three to five centimeters. Prick the meat with a sharp knife and stuff the holes with previously prepared garlic cloves. Salt the steak on top and evenly sprinkle with spices to your taste. This can be a seasoning for grilling or spicy herbs, peppers, curries and others. If you have greens (parsley, dill), you can put them. In general, it is difficult to overdo it, especially if you act according to your taste preferences. If you used wine or beer as a gravy, it will be useful to sprinkle the steak on top.
  2. Close each piece of foil so that all the meat was tightly covered with it. Press the foil in addition so that when baking steam does not come out. Next, a sharp object: a knife or fork to make a few holes in the foil. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees and send it to the pan. Bake the meat at this temperature for 40 minutes. If you prefer a steak "with blood", then 20 minutes. By the way, meat "undercooked" contains much more nutrients than fully fried steak. But here, as they say, for the amateur.
  3. So, after the time has passed, remove the pan, unroll the foil and place the meat on the grill rack, removing the garlic cloves. Already on the grill again send the steak in the oven. You can also do this step with a microwave in "Grill" mode. In order for the pork to brown and reach full readiness, 10 minutes is enough. At the same time, excess moisture evaporates, and an appetizing ruddy crust is formed on top.
  4. Place the prepared steaks on a plate and serve hot. Nearby you can put steamed onions, which were previously cooked with meat in the oven. We also spread sliced tomatoes on the dish, sprinkle with finely chopped greens. We use several twigs for decoration. Serve steak with hot sauce (mustard, adjika, ketchup).
  5. Bon appetit!
