Pork with mushrooms in sour cream sauce is quite hearty and rich dish. It can act as an independent, as mushrooms can be considered a side dish, and the dish does not need additional sauce. But at the same time you can serve him rice, potatoes or grilled vegetables and then it will be complete and any dinner with him will be just killer: hearty, tasty and unforgettable.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To begin, a piece of pork should be thoroughly washed under cold running water. Then dry it with a kitchen paper towel and place on a cutting board.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut all the fat from a piece of meat, do not throw it away, and set aside, we will need it a little later. Also remove the films from the meat, they can be discarded.
  3. Chop a piece of meat into medium-sized cubes. Do not cut into small pieces, because the meat will fry and become dry and hard to taste.
  4. Put the pan on medium heat, heat it well, then add the fat cut from a piece of pork, and melt it.
  5. Then add the minced meat to the pan, fry it until lightly golden, while not forgetting to turn it over with a wooden spatula so that it is evenly browned on all sides.
  6. While the meat is frying, start cooking the mushrooms. To do this, soak them for 10 minutes in cold water, then rinse under running water, thoroughly washing off the remnants of dust and dirt.
  7. Drain the water from the mushrooms and place them on a clean board. Chop the mushrooms into small pieces and add them to the browned meat. Stir and continue to fry.
  8. When the mushrooms are slightly browned, add 100 grams of sour cream to the pan, then pour a little clean and filtered water.
  9. Stir again, reduce the heat slightly, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 40 minutes, until the meat is fully cooked.
  10. At this time, peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. In order not to water the eyes when slicing onions, it is necessary to periodically moisten the blade of the knife with cold water. Peel the garlic, then rinse and chop finely with a knife or run through a garlic press.
  11. When the meat is cooked in a pan, add chopped onions and garlic, salt to taste, add nutmeg on the tip of a knife and mix well. If you want the sauce to turn out a little more, then if necessary at this stage you can add a little more water to the pan. Then cover the pan again and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  12. Remove the finished dish from the heat, keep it closed for another 10 minutes, and then place on a serving platter or serving plates. You can serve as a stand-alone meat dish with a glass of white wine, or with your favorite side dish at your discretion.
  13. Bon appetit!
