A wonderful and healthy dish for adults and children. I love fish cakes, not fried, but stewed with vegetables, and I recommend them to you.

Ingredients

  1. Fish to clean from scales, gut, clean from bones, wash. Cut the fish fillet into pieces.
  2. Cut off the crust from the bread, soak in water.
  3. Peel the onion, wash, cut into cubes.
  4. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put the onion in hot oil. Fry over medium heat until soft, 3-4 minutes.
  5. Skip fish, onion and squeezed bread through a meat grinder 2 times.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, add eggs. Mix the minced meat well, beat off.
  7. Peel and wash one onion and carrot. Cut into rings. Place on the bottom of a saucepan. Pour 0.5 cups of cold water.
  8. Boil the kettle. Form fish cakes with wet hands, place them on the vegetables. Pour boiling water so that the water covers the cutlets. Add onion skins. Cook fish cakes on low heat for 40 minutes, covered.
  9. Diet fish cakes are ready. Serve fish cakes with your favorite side dish.
