Today I suggest you prepare a simple and quick version of the preparation for the winter - a dietary lecho. Lecho is suitable for any porridge, meat, poultry, fish, etc. The fragrant pepper will appeal to everyone.

  1. Wash and dry peppers, remove seeds. Cut each pepper in half, then cut into large strips.
  2. Place the peppers in a thick-walled saucepan.
  3. Now pour the tomato juice into the pot.
  4. Add salt, sugar, bay leaf and a pinch of ground pepper to the peppers.
  5. Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan with peppers.
  6. Cook lecho over low heat for 30 minutes, then add chopped garlic. Cook for another 15 minutes, then add vinegar and turn off heat.
  7. Transfer the lecho to a prepared sterile jar.
  8. Immediately roll up the lecho with a sterile lid, put it upside down and cover it with a blanket, leave it alone for a day. Store the workpiece in the cellar.
