Dumplings are rightfully considered the best dish of Ukrainian cuisine. But the Turks also contributed to the appearance of dumplings. Please be patient to prepare a real culinary masterpiece!

  1. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and salt and add the water. Stir and add flour in portions. The dough should be soft and elastic. Cover the dough with a soft towel and let sit for 30 minutes while you cook the filling.
  2. For the filling, let's peel the onion. Chop it finely and chop the mushrooms into small pieces. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil. First, fry the onion a little. Then add the mushrooms. Cover mushrooms and fry until all liquid has evaporated. Season with salt to taste and cool the filling.
  3. Pour water into a large saucepan and put on fire for dumplings. Roll out the dough into a thin layer, cut out circles. Put filling in each circle and stick beautiful dumplings. Put a little salt in boiled water and cook the dumplings in small portions. As soon as the dumplings float, remove them with a colander and immediately from the bowl. Serve the dumplings immediately. It is good to serve sour cream and vegetable salad with such dumplings.
