An original way of cooking a familiar and favorite dish by many - toasts with an egg. These egg croutons are very simple to prepare and slightly resemble scrambled eggs in bread. Just two ingredients, 10 minutes of time - and a delicious breakfast of the simplest products is ready!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the core out of the bread slices so that the crust remains intact. Cut the crumb into small cubes. Set aside the crusts of the bread slices for now.
  2. Melt half the butter in a skillet over medium heat. We spread the bread sticks in the pan and, stirring constantly, fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. The bread slices should be well browned. Remove the pan from the heat.
  4. Combine the egg and salt in a deep bowl. Shake with a fork until smooth.
  5. Add the toasted bread cubes to the beaten egg and stir. The "filling" for the croutons is ready.
  6. Put the pan back on heating and melt the remaining butter in it. Put the crusts of the bread slices in the pan. Put about 1/4 of the filling in the middle of each crust.
  7. Fry the croutons over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  8. The croutons with the egg are ready. We put them on a plate and serve.
  9. Bon Appetit!
