A very simple, but at the same time delicious and original appetizer for a festive table - eggs stuffed with cod liver and granular cottage cheese. Such an appetizer is prepared very quickly, and on the festive table it looks beautiful and in a new way. Delicate, healthy and very rich in taste, cod liver gives the dish a special nutritional value.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need. Remove the eggs from the refrigerator in advance so that they warm to room temperature, otherwise they will burst during cooking and the protein will leak out.
  2. Peel the onions. Instead of red onions, you can use regular white onions, but red in the finished filling looks more interesting.
  3. Boil the eggs hard-boiled (for 10-12 minutes).
  4. While the eggs are boiling, marinate the onions.
  5. Chop the onion very finely.
  6. Transfer the onions to a bowl, add water, vinegar and sugar. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Pour boiled eggs in the shell with cold water and cool. Then remove the shells, cut the eggs in half and separate the whites from the yolks.
  8. Transfer the yolks to a deep bowl, leaving 1-2 halves of the yolk to decorate the dish. Add cod liver to them, after draining the oil. Mash everything with a fork until a pasty consistency.
  9. Add whey-free cottage cheese, stir with a fork.
  10. Squeeze the onions from the marinade and add to the rest of the filling in a bowl. Add mayonnaise to the filling, add a little salt to taste.
  11. Stir everything.
  12. Put 1 tsp with a slide of filling in each half of the egg white.
  13. Halves of five eggs were just enough for all the resulting filling.
  14. Grate the boiled yolk halves on a fine grater on top of the stuffed eggs.
  15. You can also garnish the snack with fresh parsley or dill.
  16. Thanks to the onion, the filling is a little spicy and very juicy. Cod liver added a delicate fishy taste, curd added an original creamy note and a grainy texture.
  17. A hassle-free snack is stuffed eggs. I recommend!
