Salad with ham, bell pepper, fresh cucumber - tender and juicy salad without mayonnaise, with light dressing. This salad is quite simple to prepare, but incredibly tasty. Such a salad will perfectly diversify the festive table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Ham sausage cut into cubes. Cutting into cubes is not important, you can cut into strips.
  2. We wash the fresh cucumber, cut it into cubes or strips, and send it to the chopped ham.
  3. We wash the chicken eggs, boil them hard-boiled. After cooling and peeling the eggs, chop them. Mix chopped eggs with chopped vegetables.
  4. We wash the Bulgarian sweet pepper under running water. Cut the pepper, remove the seeds from it. Then cut the pepper into cubes or strips.
  5. Pour the chopped bell pepper to the rest of the chopped vegetables.
  6. Now it's time for the salad dressing. Let's move away from the traditional dressing of salads with mayonnaise. Take a piece of lemon and squeeze out about a teaspoon of juice from it. Mix lemon juice and Dijon mustard, then add olive oil, salt and pepper.
  7. Line the bottom of the salad bowl with washed lettuce leaves.
  8. Add the dressing to the salad, mix it and put it on the lettuce leaves.
  9. Now we decorate the festive salad. From a slice of ham you can twist a rose, and from a daikon radish you can make white roses. After cleaning the daikon, cut it into thin rings. Then dip the daikon rings in salt water for a minute. From salt water, the radish will soften, it will be easy to twist roses from it, which we fix with a toothpick. Spread roses on parsley or cilantro leaves.
