French puff salad with apple, carrot and eggs

A salad of fresh carrots, apples, boiled eggs and pickled onions is a simple but very tasty dish, even exquisite in some ways. The salad is prepared easily and naturally, with a minimum of ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Pour the chopped onion into a bowl, pour in 2 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar and let marinate for 10 minutes. (You can scald chopped onion with boiling water or exclude onions altogether from the salad ingredients.)
  2. Peel the boiled eggs and grate on a fine grater.
  3. Peel the carrots and also grate with small holes.
  4. Peel and grate the apples on a coarse grater. (It is advisable to sprinkle grated apples with lemon juice so that they do not darken.)
  5. Throw the pickled onion into a strainer and put it in the first layer of salad in a culinary ring on a plate.
  6. Apply a mesh of mayonnaise and lay out the apples. Salt and redistribute the mayonnaise.
  7. Then lay out a layer of eggs. Salt, apply a mayonnaise mesh.
  8. Then a layer of carrots and again a mesh of mayonnaise. Don't forget to salt.
  9. Lay out the carrot, apple and egg salad in layers until the prepared foods run out. Don't forget salt and mayonnaise. Then carefully remove the serving ring.
  10. Garnish the layered salad with apples and carrots with fresh herbs and serve.
