Flavored Italian cheese omelet.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the zucchini, cut into 1 cm cubes. Salt and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. You can also take zucchini, but the zucchini has a more pronounced taste.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp in a frying pan. a spoonful of vegetable oil. Over high heat, stirring occasionally, fry the zucchini cubes until golden brown. The approximate frying time is 10-15 minutes.
  4. When the cubes are browned, be sure to transfer them to a bowl.
  5. If the pan is small, it is best to fry the zucchini in portions so that they do not turn into porridge.
  6. Cut the boiled meat (I took the tongue) into cubes.
  7. Finely chop the basil.
  8. Mix the zucchini, tongue and basil.
  9. Grate cheese. Set aside a quarter of the cheese to sprinkle the frittata on top.
  10. Also grate soft sheep's cheese (you can take feta cheese).
  11. Beat eggs lightly.
  12. And mix with cheeses.
  13. Put the filling in the egg-cheese mixture and mix everything thoroughly
  14. Turn on the oven and preheat it to 190 degrees.
  15. Next, we need a frying pan that can be used in the oven. It needs to be warmed up, greased with vegetable oil (1 tbsp. Spoon). Reduce heat to medium. Pour the prepared mixture into a preheated pan.
  16. When the edges of the omelet begin to sprinkle with the remaining cheese on the frittata.
  17. Place the pan on a baking sheet and bake the zucchini frittata for 20 minutes in the oven on the middle shelf at 190 degrees.
  18. If there is no oven or there is no desire to complicate your life, you can simply cover the pan with a lid and continue to fry the frittata in the pan for another 10-15 minutes. You just need to reduce the heat to low.
  19. The Italian zucchini frittata is ready. Bon Appetit!
