Hot corn salad

This corn salad requires fresh or frozen corn, green onions, bell peppers, and spices. Hot corn salad is cooked no more than 20 minutes. This salad is a good side dish for seafood.

  1. If the corn is frozen, it must be thawed first. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the butter. Put the bell pepper, the white part of the onion, mustard and turmeric into the pan, cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add corn kernels to skillet, reduce heat to medium, cover skillet, cook for about 5 minutes, until corn is soft. Add the green part of the onion, salt and pepper the corn salad to taste, mix. Serve corn salad immediately.
