  1. Fill a container with water, add sugar, salt, bay leaf, onion peel and cook. Bulbs can be added and more. When the water boils, put the washed lard in it - let it boil for another 20-30 minutes.
  2. Remove the lard from the heat and leave it for 8-10 hours to soak in the broth (in the cold). Then remove the lard from the brine and dry it. While the lard dries from the liquid, cut the garlic into thin slices, then mix with ground black pepper. Roll out the dried lard in this mixture, wrap it in foil and put in the freezer overnight.
