I've tried a lot of sandwiches in my life, but this recipe pleasantly surprised me. It seems that there is nothing special in the composition, but the sandwiches are amazing, they taste like potato pancakes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First of all, we need to peel and grate the potatoes on a medium or fine grater, then squeeze it out a little, drain the excess liquid, and salt and pepper the resulting mass to taste.
  2. Add finely chopped or grated onions and an egg to the potatoes, mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Next, we take the loaf, it should not be too soft, and cut it into slices about 1.5 cm wide.
  4. Lubricate each slice of the loaf with a small layer of potato mass, leave the loaf to soak for 2-3 minutes.
  5. We put the pan with oil on the fire, and when the oil is well heated, put the sandwiches in the pan with the potato layer down.
  6. Fry them over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
  7. Now all that remains is to decorate the sandwiches with fresh herbs and serve them with tea to the table. Bon Appetit!
