Indian fried cabbage

Get ready to dance with pleasure. Familiar roasted cabbage takes on a completely different taste thanks to the bright notes and spice of curry and the freshness of cilantro. Impossible to resist!

  1. Grate the cabbage on a coarse grater, or chop it with a food processor or knife.
  2. In a large skillet, melt half the butter and sauté the cabbage over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes to soften the cabbage without darkening.
  3. Add spices and vinegar. Cook until aroma appears. Transfer the cabbage to a bowl and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add garlic, onion and curry paste. Fry for 1 minute. Add minced meat and fry until tender.
  5. Reduce heat slightly and add cooked cabbage to the meat. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a generous helping of mayonnaise or sour cream before serving.
