The traditional dish of Japanese cuisine is a sweet and spicy very thin omelet, which is prepared in a rectangular pan and then rolled into a roll. It can be served as a separate dish or as part of sushi and rolls.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat eggs with a whisk or fork
  2. Add soy sauce, sugar, and salt
  3. Grease a frying pan with oil. It is important that it stays greased before each new serving of omelet.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan in a thin layer like pancakes and fry until the omelet is almost ready, but the top remains liquid. Then, using sticks and a wooden spatula, roll it into a roll and push it to the edge of the pan.
  5. Repeat the operation. When the second omelet is almost ready, roll it on the first omelet and push it to the edge of the pan.
  6. Repeat the operation until the eggs are finished, each time twisting a new portion of the omelet around the existing roll.
