Very simple cutlets made from boiled eggs and semolina. I will not argue that it is these egg cutlets that are cooked in Karelia, but the recipe was found under that name). And the cutlets turned out to be tender and tasty.

  1. Boil eggs hard-boiled (9 minutes), cool in cold water and peel.
  2. Finely chop the boiled eggs with a knife.
  3. In a saucepan, boil 100 ml of water with a pinch of salt. Pour in semolina and cook steep semolina porridge.
  4. Add still warm semolina to the eggs. Also add salt and black pepper. Mix the minced meat for the egg cutlets well.
  5. Form cutlets.
  6. Dip each cutlet in breadcrumbs.
  7. Prepare all patties for frying.
  8. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put cutlets in a frying pan and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  9. Egg cutlets are ready. They can be served with sour cream or your favorite sauce.
