The pizza base can be prepared without using flour. This cheese base recipe can be a great alternative to keto cauliflower pizza. The base has a delicious golden color and taste reminiscent of a cheese cake. This version of the base, in contrast to the flour base, has a softer texture and does not dry out when baked. For pizza, you will need several types of cheese, and you can add any filling to the dish. This recipe uses a simple filling of sugar-free cheese and tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine grated cheese, eggs, and seasonings together in a kitchen blender until smooth.
  2. Preheat oven to 200C. Place the parchment on a baking sheet or place the parchment in a round baking pan. Lubricate the parchment with oil. Transfer the dough to baking parchment, forming a 20-23 cm circle.
  3. Place the dough in the oven and bake for 10-20 minutes, until the base is light brown and the cheese crust hardens.
  4. Remove the base from the oven and add the filling: tomato sauce and cheese. Spread evenly over the entire surface, 1 cm back from the edges.
  5. Place the pizza back in the oven and cook for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
